Bitcoin Cash (BCH) fork not supported

Today, August 1st, a hard fork of the Bitcoin blockchain was undertaken.

The original Bitcoin blockchain (BTC) has now locked in support for SegWit2x, although it remains to be seen whether the '2x' part (which increases the maximum block size to 2MB) will actually occur as planned. This is the fork which is supported and represented by our Silent Bitcoin (SBC) voucher currency.

The new "Bitcoin Cash" blockchain (BCH) does not support SegWit, neither as BIP91 nor as BIP141, but instead increases the max block size to 8MB. This version of Bitcoin will, probably within a few days, exist as a separate chain. Because of changes made for BCH, coin spends on one blockchain will not be recognized on the other. Therefore, it will not be possible for SBC to be redeemed for BCH. If you are holding SBC and wish to work with it as BCH (or both BTC and BCH), then you must first redeem your SBC voucher value for BTC.

We will revisit the BCH currency in the future, and if it proves viable and sustainable, we may add it as a separate voucher currency type. However at no time will our existing SBC currency represent anything but original BTC.
